Statement: This was my first project done within the Urban Design program at G.T. , and the site was very lacking. My responsibility was to build for a future MARTA station that is currently being planned for, and the goal was to add intelligently programmed density in the form of an urban design project. I came up with a piece of infrastructure that matched the site, provided diverse housing and quality green space, while also building systems that provide the community with jobs and food, in a way that promotes connectivity and car-lite living.
